Annual Golf Day
Inaugurated on the 8th of March 2021, the birthday of our Founder and Managing Director. The purpose is to collect donations for adopted charities.
The Eddit-IS Annual Golf Day was inaugurated on the 8th of March 2021, coinciding with the birthday of our Founder and Managing Director, Gift Mmangaliso Sgam. What started as a small gathering has grown into a significant annual event in the South African ICT calendar.
Purpose
The primary purpose of the golf day is to collect donations for our adopted charities. Beyond fundraising, the event serves as a platform for skills acquisition and career exposure, bringing together industry leaders, partners, and young professionals.
Growth and Impact
Since its inception, the golf day has helped support multiple organisations including the Tembisa Children's Home, Onkabetse in Vosloorus, and Emmangweni Primary School. Each year, the event attracts more participants and generates greater impact for the communities we serve.
